How does CovidClicker integrate with existing software?
We work as a Chrome browser extension, and use the Practice Fusion templates in your account. You can obtain a useful starter set of templates on this page.
How does pricing work for the software?
FastForward is a monthly subscription. Each license authorizes one user. Do not share accounts. Although no patient-specific information is handled by FastForward, settings are stored on a per-user basis. This means that if someone else uses your account they can change the way your charting is handled.
Is technical support available?
Yes, we provide technical support through email.
Can I try the software before purchasing?
We offer a seven day trial period for all new customers. This allows you to experience the full capabilities of the software and make an informed purchasing decision.
Our story
It started in the heart of the COVID pandemic. Suddenly, we were busier than ever before. Our clinic went from normal medical procedures to a combination call center and testing center. A busy day used to be 40 patient visits. Now it was 180.

My wife was the doctor in charge of this chaos. After a full 12 hour day, being busy every second, with no time to chart, she had to tackle that pile of work the next day. For that many charts it would take from 6am in the morning to well past midnight. Too many repetitive clicks to record Dx codes and dates, too much typing to fill in templates, check the checkboxes and set the pulldowns.  Almost all of it was the same: A test. A test result. A few normal cases sprinkled in there as well. You had to pay full attention while doing it, since every date and Dx code and PF template had to be correct.Â

This was a problem that technology could solve. We made a tool to handle this and the job went from a ton of clicking and typing on each chart down to picking one menu choice and waiting 30 seconds. After that you could finish any customizations on your chart, knowing that all the tedious grunt work was already done correctly. We called it the 'COVID Clicker'. All our NPs, PAs and locum MDs/DOs loved it too. Â

After things returned to normal, we realized that most of our cases are typical in some way. We expanded use of the COVID Clicker to almost all of our normal workload: flu, cold, allergy, UTI, otitis, conjunctivitis, you name it. The program became more robust, more capable, and became a Chrome browser extension. We renamed it FastForward.
